Karel Martens est un designer graphique, typographe et artiste néerlandais, développant depuis 1961 une pratique expérimentale et combinatoire de la matière imprimée. Son activité de designer indépendant inclut notamment le design collaboratif de la revue Oase. Il a reçu de nombreux prix au fil de sa carrière.
